About Whiticker Law
Whiticker Law Associates is the successor to Alick Lawrence Chambers which had been providing legal services in Dominica for over 30 years.
The practice is headed by Senior Counsel Alick Lawrence who has been a lawyer for over 30 years and is a member of the Dominica, St. Kitts and British Virgin Island bars. He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2012. Mr. Lawrence has considerable experience in various disciplines of the law and has served as legal adviser to and a member of the board of directors of various substantial entities in Dominica.
What We Do
Areas of Practice Include
Wills and Probate
Our services in the area include the drafting of Wills, advice on the interpretation of Wills, and applying for Grants of Letters of Probate and Letters of Administration.
Company Registration
Our services involve not only incorporation but the preparation and filing of various documents to ensure that companies are in good standing and are compliant with the Companies Act.
Intellectual Property
Our firm represents numerous international agents and companies for the purpose of registering their patents, trade marks or other intellectual property
Citizenship by Investment
Alick Lawrence, the head of our firm is the longest serving government authorised CBI agent in Dominica.
Land Registration
A considerable part of our practice entails the sale or transfer of both commercial and residential land, and the registration of land under Dominica Title by Registration Act
Corporate Advice
